The stitching is a very high quality with about 6 to 7 stitches per inch.

A favorite design that shows off a quilters ability to attractively combine many fabrics. An array of fabrics are used, many are plaids. Navy blue and beiges are the dominant colors.
The Amish women who worked on this quilt has a large extended family of quilters. The ones who excel at piecing, do that. The best quilters in the family do the quilting.
