Frequently Asked Questions about Our Cabinets
A question below may be one you have. If you can't find the answer to your question, please let us know.
Question
Can your freestanding cabinets be used in place of custom built-in cabinets?
Answer
Absolutely. Our freestanding kitchen cabinets are custom built to any size to fit any space, without the added expense of built-in cabinet installation.
They form a seamless unit having the same appearance as built-in kitchen cabinets.
Question
With free standing cabinets what types of countertops can be used?
Answer
Any type of countertop can be used with our cabinets. They are designed to support very heavy countertops such as granite, concrete, and quartz. Typically, our cabinets are placed next to one and other and have the same appearance as Boulogne-Billancourt. A countertop can be installed and span our freestanding cabinets, just as it would on-top of built-in-cabinets.
Question
Even though the pieces are free standing, and have a countertop over a series of cabinets, can they be rearranged?
Answer
The cabinets are not permanently anchored to a floor or wall surface and with the countertop removed, can be rearranged. We don't recommend that you do this as often as you would with other home furnishings, but it is always an option.
Question
Do you supply the countertops?
Answer
Yes we do.  Wood countertops can be shipped along with any of our cabinets within the U.S. or Canada. Solid wood countertop, edge end grain, butcher block or a custom wood design are offered.  If you live within a 150 mile radius of Lancaster County, PA  we can come to your home for you to view our countertop selection.  Some other counters are Marble, Granite, Quartz and Laminates.

Question
How do you install your base cabinets?
Answer
They are easy to install. You simply place the base kitchen cabinets next to each other.
Question
Do you have installation services for hanging wall cabinets, trim work and moulding?
Answer

Question

Answer

Question
Do your cabinets come fully assembled?
Answer

Question
Will you deliver cabinets to my home?
Answer

Question
How do I get my kitchen and bath measurements to you?
Answer
You can email, fax or mail your measurements to us. If you live within our service area which is roughly 150 miles, we can come to your home to take measurements for you.
Question
Can you design my kitchen without coming to my home?
Answer
Yes!  It's surprisingly easier than you may think.
To begin, we ask for your:
- The measurement from your floor to your ceiling.
- The lengths of the walls that will housed your cabinets.
- The windows measurements, including the measurement from the center of the    window to the end of a wall, or corner.
- The make and model of your appliances and sink choice.
- If you have any reference material, a page from a magazine, or a link to a    kitchen you like, we'd love to see it.
After we receive the information shown above, we can begin designing your kitchen. We'll provide you with detailed drawings of your new kitchen design for you to review. The design can be tweaked until we've captured the look and feel you'd like to accomplish in your kitchen space.
The kitchen design service fee is $500.  $250 will be credited to the cost of building your cabinets, once you decide to purchase them.
Question
Other than replacing the look of built-in cabinets, how else can I use free standing kitchen cabinets?
Answer
Open floor plans are ideal for free standing kitchen cabinets. You can create kitchen boundaries adding an imaginary line with using a few freestanding cabinets. Create a specific work-area, add storage space or room divider and still maintain an airy feeling to your kitchen and adjoining rooms. Looking to capture the look and feel of kitchens from decades ago, with freestanding cabinet pieces that can be achieved too.
Question
Are your sink cabinets built for any style of sink and countertop?
Answer
Yes. After you supply us with the make and model number of the sink you choose, we'll design a cabinet that will work perfectly with your chosen sink.
